Really Apple?  Were people tripping over themselves to get a bigger iPhone, minus the phone part?  The iPad is no more than a massive iPod Touch.

It is like that size 60 basketball shoe you see at Nike stores – yeah they made it, but who the f*ck is going to wear that thing?  It is a massive gimmick.

When rumors leaked of Apple coming out with a Tablet PC, or Tablet Mac in this case, I expected a full on computer with serious processing power and the ability to handle real programs, not just apps.  Why carry around a computer and then another smaller, much lesser one?  I have a Netbook for travel purposes - it still does everything a computer will do.  The only connectivity the iPad offers is that proprietary Mac charger plug.

Prediction: The iPad will fall flat on its face, just as the MacBook Air did.  I’m actually shocked they even still make the Air.  I work in the entertainment industry where Apple is religion and I have seen one person using it and then a few months later he was back on his old MacBook Pro.

The question: Why would you carry this big thing around when you can already have it in your pocket via iPod Touch or iPhone?

I think you missed the mark on this one Steve, perhaps you’re losing your touch.  Also, love the references to the iPad being a feminine hygiene product.
