I wrote this blog (click to read) the other day that was posted on the Naked Word Surfer about Sarah Palin lashing out at Family Guy for one of the show’s characters dating a girl with Down syndrome who claims that her mother is the "former Governor of Alaska."  The blog goes on to discuss Palin's self-destructive public behavior and lobbies for the fact that she would make a volatile president, but that she'll never actually get there because she is a reality show star rather than a viable political candidate.
The blog post actually drew quite a bit of ire from those at the far right.  In particular someone I know even threatened via Facebook to run “the author” of the piece down in his Jeep and then “back over him to finish the job.”  How vague.

Well it turns out the actor who voiced the Down syndrome character on Family Guy actually has Down syndrome and says the humor of the sketch was aimed at Sarah Palin and not her son (whoever watched it would realize that). She also noted that Sarah Palin must not have a sense of humor. Go figure. Looks like Down syndrome 2, Palin 0.
