ShortStreamTV is a community-based media network showcasing the working lives of talented artists, craft-people, and professionals from across our region and state. We are based in Portsmouth, NH.

ShortStreamTV was hashed out over a beer at The Press Room in Portsmouth. In that time, ShortStreamTV founder Dan Freund described his passionate interest for creating a manageable community media network to his good friend John Herman. John buried his face in his laptop, causing Dan to think he was ignoring him. At the point Dan was about to ask if John was listening, he turned around his laptop and directed Dan to an account created specifically for his concept. ShortStreamTV was born.

Today, ShortStreamTV offers visitors a single destination for watching the best video talent our region and state has to offer. We emphasize episodic webseries and encourage younger producers to get out and make media.
